DESCRIPTION:The Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that pursuant to Virgin Islands Code\, Title 12\, Chapter 21\, meetings of the St. Croix Committee of the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Management Commission have been scheduled to begin on Wednesday\, January 16\, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Company House Hotel Conference Room\, #2 Company Street\, Christiansted\, St. Croix\, Virgin Islands. \nItems on the agenda include the Decision Meeting for the Major Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Permit Application No. CZX-14-18(L) MARCO St. Croix\, Inc. MARCO St. Croix\, Inc. has proposed to construct and operate an asphalt plant. The proposed project is located at Plot No. 4B Estate Blessing\, St. Croix. \nPermit Application No. CZX-20-18(L) Turtle Soup Bay\, LLC. Turtle Soup Bay\, LLC has proposed to construct and operate a 17-unit resort\, which includes 10 one-bedroom units\, 2 ADA-accessible units\, 4 two-bedroom units\, 3 three-bedroom units\, restaurant/bar\, pool and a fitness room. The proposed project is located seaward of Plot No. 53\, 53-A and 53-B Little Princesse\, Christiansted\, St. Croix. \nPermit Application No. CZX-19-18(W) VIGL Operations\, LLC. VIGL Operations\, LLC has proposed to construct and operate a new dock in the same location as the previous King Christian Hotel Dock. The proposed project is located seaward of Plot No. 59 King Street\, Christiansted\, St. Croix. \nPermit Application No. CZX-18-18(L&W) Gold Coast Yachts\, Inc. Gold Coast Yachts\, Inc. intends to relocate its existing 32 year old company from Salt River Marina and Roebuck Industrial Park to one central location. The applicant has proposed to construct and operate a new yacht manufacturing facility including component fabrication shops\, assembly building\, inventory building\, office building\, training building and other support buildings to manufacture catamaran sail and power vessels. The proposed project will be located at Plot No. 211 Estate Golden Rock on the St. Croix. \nPermit No. CZX-2-16(W)/Carden Beach Recreation Association\, Inc.\, request for an extension to allow for the rehabilitation of an existing dock\, and bring it into compliance with CZM rules and regulations. The project is located at Plot No. 21 Estate Coakley Bay\, Christiansted\, St. Croix\, Virgin Islands.
