Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that in celebration of World Oceans Week, the Division of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) and the Division of Library, Archives and Museum (DLAM) will host a series of educational pop-ups throughout the island of St. Croix this week from 9am to 2 pm.
This week-long event will allow the public to learn more about the territory’s valuable natural resources and the measures taken to protect them. The East End Marine Park’s ECOVAN will host a variety of activities such as “Ask a Biologist”, an interactive mystery box, and a learning display about the seasonal measure of the conch. The DLAM Bookmobile will also host Storytime sessions and tours.
