June 29 - July 6, 2024

DPNR is proud to present the territory’s first annual Coral Reef Week. This weeklong educational and interactive initiative aims to inform and engage Virgin Islanders in coral and marine conservation efforts in the territory. Coral Reef Week boasts a range of exciting experiences from land based coral nursery tours, youth diving at the Frederiksted Pier, beach clean ups, an ocean inspired art gallery, interactive watershed activities, snorkel clinics, free kayak tours and much more!

Coral Reef Week is funded by the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program which has allowed all events to be free for the public to participate in! Coral Reef Week 2024 will only take place on St. Croix with plans to extend to St. Thomas in 2025.
