Fish and Wildlife – About Us

On the Department of Planning and Natural Resources Division of Fish and Wildlife website, you now have access to online grant applications, final reports, links with national, regional, state and local agencies, and other organizations. It is our mission to serve as a scientific resource for our community, creating partnerships and forging collaborations to better utilize the rich natural resources of the Territory.

The Division of Fish and Wildlife staff work to create valuable experiences with fish and wildlife and provide educational opportunities for all Virgin Islanders. Our staff are located at four locations in the St. Croix (Frederiksted, La Reine) and St. Thomas (Red Hook, Frenchtown) Districts.

We have wildlife biologists, fisheries biologists, environmental specialists, environmental educators, and support staff for maintenance, grants management, accounting, administration, and custodial services.
