ARCHERY PROGRAM TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

Archery Program Temporarily Suspended

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that the Archery Field located in Estate LaGrange on St. Croix will be temporarily closed effective Sunday, January 15th, for redevelopment and expansion of the program Territory-wide. Public practice times will be announced in early March 2023.

“While we take some time from our very heavy field schedule to reflect on our achievements and expand our activities to all jurisdictions, the field will be closed for practice,” Commissioner Oriol said.

The public archery program on St. Croix is run by DPNR’s Division of Fish and Wildlife, funded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The use of the program’s equipment and field time is free. Any public comments on archery program to be considered may be made until February 17th, 2023, electronically to DFWElectronic@usvi.onmicrosoft.com or by calling 773-1082 x2224.
