CHANGE OF VENUE FOR HULL BAY BOAT RAMP TOWN HALL MEETING

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that the public Town Hall Meeting for the Hull Bay Boat Ramp project has been moved to a new location.

The Town Hall Meeting will now be held in the Auditorium at the Charlotte Amalie High School on Thursday, August 10th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. The department was forced to find a new location to host the town hall when the proprietor of the venue expressed concerns about the capacity of his venue to accommodate the expected number of participants.

“While this last-minute change is inconvenient, the new location at CAHS will allow for us to accommodate the large audience planning to attend.  With the public having this date on their calendars, we did not want to postpone the meeting.  We would like to thank Commissioner Wells-Hendrington, Principal Petrus and the CAHS Team for being able to accommodate our need at the 11th hour,” said Oriol.

The department apologizes for this unexpected inconvenience but encourages the community to participate in this meeting at 6:00 pm at CAHS.
