Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) advises the public on new temporary contact phone numbers for facilities within the Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums (DLAM) as repairs continue on existing phone systems.
These temporary numbers are being implemented to ensure that residents and visitors can continue to reach DLAM facilities without interruption during this time.

DLAM Director Amy DeSorbo reminds the library patrons that they may borrow books, access the free public computer lab, and participate in programs such as bilingual toddler time, Storytime, and book clubs. In addition, library cards provide access to DLAM’s online digital library, allowing patrons up to ten free digital borrows per month.
Director DeSorbo also encourages residents to visit the Fort Frederik Museum. Virgin Islands residents with valid government issued identification receive a 50 percent discount on admission, reducing the cost to $5.00, while students under the age of 18 are admitted free of charge.
The Commissioner apologizes for the past inconvenience regarding the phones and thanks the public for their patience in this matter.
