Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources reminds the public and political aspirants that pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Virgin Islands Historic Preservation Commission under Virgin Islands Code Title 29 Chapter 3, Section 281, Subsection (a), (7), Rules and Regulations of the Virgin Islands Historic Preservation Commission, Section 281-11, subsection 2(H)
“NO POLITICAL SIGNS OR POLITICAL ADVERTISING OF ANY TYPE IS ALLOWED WITHIN THE HISTORIC DISTRICTS.”
Political posters, banners, and bumper stickers erected in these Historic Districts are to be removed immediately. Violators will be fined.
