FREDERIKSTED BOATING ACCESS DOCK TO CLOSE FOR REPAIRS

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces the temporary closure of the Frederiksted Boating Access Dock at the Albert Edwards Fish Market, as it undergoes renovations.  Repairs to the dock are expected to commence on Monday, December 4, 2023.

For the safety of the boating community, access to the dock will be restricted to all users until completion of the repairs. Boaters will still be able to launch vessels at the site, as no work will be conducted to the ramps.  The repairs are scheduled to be completed within 20 days of the work commencing.

“These repairs aim to improve the experience and safety of all users of the facility,” said Commissioner Oriol.
