“I AM DAVID HAMILTON JACKSON” STUDENT ART SHOW ON DISPLAY AT FORT FREDERIK

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources is pleased to announce that the Division of Libraries, Archives, and Museums will host the “I AM DAVID HAMILTON JACKSON” art exhibition at the Fort Frederik Museum on Saturday, November 26th from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. The David Hamilton Jackson art exhibit will feature social justice collages of students from various schools/art programs.

The student art show is open to the public and free of charge. “The Division of Libraries, Archives, and Museums looks forward to showcasing the brilliant talent of our young people in Fort Frederik for this fun-filled family event in Frederiksted”, said Director Amy DeSorbo.

After the art exhibit, the community is also encouraged to participate in the Holidays in the Nighttime Skies’ TOY COLLECTION drive, taking place in the Fort on Saturday evening from 5-8 pm.
